Put these two Multi's on yesterday arvo:
Tennis: Tommy Hass win 1.22 WON Tennis: David Nalbandian win 1.25 WON Tennis: Marat Safin win 1.16 WON Soccer: Juventus win 1.60 WON Soccer: Liverpool win 1.82 LOST (draw) Soccer: Chelsea win 1.40 WON Soccer: Arsenal win 1.18 LOST (draw) Cricket: Australia win 1.45 WON League: Australia win 1.42 WON --------------------------------- Total: 17.52 --------------------------------- 5 out of 9 so far so good. Australia should win the league, (fingers crossed) that will leave 3 EPL games. Feeling is ********e on this one. For just a little more value I put this one on too: Cricket: Australia win 1.45 WON League: Australia win 1.42 WON MotoGP: Valentino Rossi win 1.75 Soccer: Chelsea win 1.40 WON Soccer: Manchester Utd win 1.75 LOST Soccer: Liverpool win 1.82 LOST Soccer: Arsenal/Arsenal 1.38 (half/full double) LOST --------------------------------- Total: 22.17 --------------------------------- The 2nd one is pretty much the same as the one I posted in Knowledges streak II thread except I added Arsenal/Arsenal half time fulltime double. And the cricket dropped from 1.95 to 1.45. [ This Message was edited by: Jack Daniels on 2004-10-31 10:28 ] |

Mate, that is a pretty far out bet 1001/1.
I usually go for less value and games more likely to get a result, with as few soccer games as I possibly can because of the all too often draw factor. I usually do have a few multi's with that sort of value but generally only during the NRL and Super 12's season because of the margin betting options. Going on from your value bet I am putting these two on today too. I always treat these rather large multi's as a bit of fun as there are just so many variables, especially with the soccer and the league margin bets. Oh well here goes; Middlesbrough win 2.70 WON Manchester United win 1.72 LOST Liverpool win 1.75 LOST Crystal Palace win 4.80 WON Everton win 2.05 LOST Tottenham win 2.87 LOST Australia 1-12 3.00 WON NZ Breakers win 2.05 NBL WON A. Agassi win 1.18 Ten WON T. Haas win 1.18 Ten WON ------------------------------ Total 1965.29 x 2 = 3930.58 ------------------------------ And Middlesbrough win 2.70 WON Manchester United win 1.72 LOST Liverpool win 1.75 LOST Crystal Palace win 4.80 WON Everton win 2.05 LOST Tottenham win 2.87 LOST Australia 13+ 2.55 LOST NZ Breakers win 2.05 NBL WON A. Agassi win 1.18 Ten WON T. Haas win 1.18 Ten WON ------------------------------ Total 1670.50 x 2 = 3341.00 ------------------------------ I think Australia can win the league, but have obviously covered both margins just to be a little irish today (to be sure to be sure). Good Luck. [ This Message was edited by: Jack Daniels on 2004-10-31 10:31 ] |
Yep it is a far out bet but only for a dollar
ill get that much fun seing if crystal palace can win by two if they dont stiff cheese ..... the others have got a chance , agood chance for that matter . I think that Liverpool looks winner theyre price is dropping I also think Arsenal, Man U (although theres a forboding shadow in my brain about this one),Chelsea should win But abit short for me in the straight out Dept I also think that Everton and Tottenham represent great value at their prices and Middlesborugh Ill be taking 2 and 3 leg multis Maybe the odd 4 leg and ill try not be dependant on one team. And Crystal Palace has got some chance of winning that match Ive actually had a tenner on them to win at better than five dollars and a tenner to draw at 3.5 They are the first match so I can split abit of that if any onto a couple of multis |
Haha hope it pulls off for you guys... I guess there isnt much to lose
Theys some monster multis!!! I have a few of my own but no where near as impressive (or worth as much) as the above... Arsenal/Liverpool @ $2.14 Chelsea/Juventus @ $1.97 (Juve against Cheivo) Arsenal/Man Utd/Chelsea/Liverpool/Juventus @ $8.80 (Juve vs Roma - already a winner) |

Liverpool To Win Chelsea To Win Everton To Win Tottenham Hotspur To Win $16.40 x $5.00 Chelsea To Win Everton To Win Tottenham Hotspur To Win $8.95 x $10.00 Liverpool To Win Chelsea To Win Everton To Win Tottenham Hotspur To Win Manchester United Margin +1 $63.00 x $1.00 Liverpool To Win Chelsea To Win Everton To Win Tottenham Hotspur To Win Arsenal To Win Manchester United To Win $32.75 x $3.00 |
Hey JD where do you get your tennis tips from
RE your top multi short priced winners can sure add up , I like a bit of value as youve probably guessed but say 5 winners at an av 1.4 will give a div of(let me get my calculator out)5.37 which isnt a bad price if your prepared to have a bit on it even 20 will give you over 100 result so if your prepared to wait a few days and be selective....... personally I like soccer i seem to more insightful in that than anything else I think i might start my self up a little 5 leg all up and see how i go I might just make my first bet Liverpool Chelsea |
SYDNEY*$1.20
BOURGOIN*$1.10 TOULOUSE*$1.03 ANDRE AGASSI*$1.15 TOMMY HAAS*$1.18 DAVID NALBANDIAN*$1.33 MARAT SAFIN*$1.18 5.00 at $2.89 = $14.45 |
BIRMINGHAM*$1.68
ARSENAL*$1.15 EVERTON*$2.05 MANCHESTER UNITED*$1.65 1.38: 1.75 1.66: 1.63 1.57 1.95 2.00 at $130.72 = $261.44 |

Hey Floyd, Tennis tips are my own. I follow it quite a bit actually. Like I do most sports. As for the short prices, mate if you can string a few of them together with a couple of good value bets, they certainly do add up. As for the soccer, don't get me wrong I do enjoy it. I just hate the draw factor when it stuffs up my multi's. That top multi of mine is looking good, 5 from 9 so far. My biggest worry is a draw in one of the 3 remaining soccer matches. I am still confident of Aust beating the Poms in the League. |
My brain always tumbles me toward 2.00+ bets .
But im not adverse to an odds on punt However even if i take short odds i find it hard to take below 1,30 on anything, But if ya know your stuff i suppose its worth wile. I think in EPL for example A draw is always on the cards even if the contest on face values seem lopsided |
Hi floydy, i'm back from the dead, pity my dog come back, been a depressing last couple of weeks. I'm not greedy so i think a little multi on,
Australian Try Arsenal Win @ $2.58 |
How are ya GM its been a while I thought ya might of topped yaself after the G/F;
That looks like a fair bet .... Dont know that you be in the black if you taken that option in there last series though,,,, Maybe we wont so complacent this time put 20 onem by half time hahaha good luck mate |
Yeah i know, watched the first 2 games and the kiwis bashed us and scored 1st, but i think we'll score 1st against the pomms with Kimmorely at half, rather than hog boy Gower.
|
Nope GM I was Talkin bout that series against the poms last year
|
I agree Goldmember, Kimmorley is a better bet at 1/2 than Gower.
|
AND it wouldnt hurt to have scott hill beside him dont think ive seen a combo more in tune with eachother well maybe i have but none that springs to mind
|
I believe Hill is playing off the bench and Gower is 5/8.
Here are the teams according to Foxsports. Australian Team: Anthony Minichiello, Luke Rooney, Shaun Berrigan, Willie Tonga, Matt Sing, Craig Gower, Brett Kimmorley, Shane Webcke, Danny Buderus (c), Jason Ryles, Nathan Hindmarsh, Andrew Ryan, Tonie Carroll. Interchange: Willie Mason, Craig Wing, Scott Hill, Petero Civoniceva. Likely Great Britain team: Kris Radlinski, Brian Carney, Keith Senior, Martin Gleeson, Paul Wellens, Paul Sculthorpe, Sean Long, Andy Farrell (c), Terry Newton, Stuart Fielden, Adrian Morley, Jamie Peacock, Sean O'Loughlin. Interchange: Ryan Bailey, Danny McGuire, Stephen Wild, Gareth Ellis I am hoping for a good dry game, anybody know the weather conditions in Manchester tomorrow morning. |

That's when it's on TV, but I don't know if it's live. Last week's game wasn't. |

Why not post it up and put yourself on the line like the rest of us farout, start a new thread get some convo happening in here. Pretty stagnant forum by most accounts, not many people here have much to say about anything. And. Sportznut. I am sure the kick off time is a little after the scheduled start time of 5.00 am but I could be wrong. What makes you say the game wasn't live last weekend?? Just curious. I recorded it off Foxtel last week as I forgot to set the video before I went out. Floydy, I think I am chasing mostly the same sort of results as you in the soccer too. Good Luck. |
the bet fair market closes at 03.15
