Arsenal have scored and lead 1 nil though. Not going to be much help with these. Might have to log onto sportstab and check out some of the others I put on to see how I am going.

Portsmouth are back to 1 West Brom 2 at half time courtesy of two own goals, which doesn't do anything for the HT/FT Double though.

Man U and Southampton screwed me too, nil all at half time.

German Bundesliga can be frustrating. I backed Stuttgart and they went 2-0 up early in the match. I was very happy.. then Bochum fought back :o but now Stuttgart are 3-2 up.. Bundesliga defences are very goal-prone though. 16 mins left hopefully they don't choke it.

Looks like you where right Knowledge. Liverpool cost me big time. You get that, Good thing is they where only little bets at those prices.

You've picked an awful lot of winners in those bets for no result. Have you thought of simply having less games in your multis? I mean, it's very difficult to get ALL of those results going your way.

Yeah sportznut, I put a lot of multis in each week, a lot of them I put on at long odds like the one above, but they go on as $1 or $2 bets. So its no great loss just having a stab at getting a long shot winner up. Like earlier in the week I got a $90 dollar multi home at $10. There is no way I would invest more than a dollar or two at a 1000/1 odds. Perhaps I'll post up some of the smaller ones I put on. It might make me appear a little more sane.

Knowledge, I'd all but given up on Everton and Portsmouth winning. What a suprise to see them get up in the final minutes of their matches. Geez I thought the Tottenham game would have had more goals than that. Oh well thems the breaks. On to the next one.

Like I say, It's more about the possibilty of getting a big one up with an upset thrown in that counts. In all seriousness I don't expect any of these to get up but if they do its a bonus on top of the smaller multis I put on.

I tell you though, I really thought Liverpool where good things against Aston Villa yesterday. They played dumb in the second half. Having said that they should have scored more than once in that game. Particularily in the first half.

You could already be in trouble JD. Townsville are smashing Perth at the moment 37-22 at quarter time.

NBL is betting nightmare

wildcats are strange.. they can win away from home but when they play in Perth they're pathetic.

sparkus do you know why Moya is fav against Roddick? I would've thought Roddick would win. I think there is value in Roddick actually.

Wildcats are in a phase of restructuring their offensive play at the moment with the sacking of Tucker (point guard) and signing of Lett (centre). Even so, they played pathetically tonight against a weak Crocodiles side missing Casey Calvary. The game was there for the taking during the end of the third quarter/beginning of the fourth but the Crocodiles managed to pull away in the end.


The clay surface?

Yeh I have been mostly been staying away from the NBL. The only bets i have been having are against teams backing up and that seems to be working out alright for the time being.

Now to your tennis question Kman - The main reason Moya was favourite tonight is because Roddick is brutal on clay courts. Roddick's big weapons are his serve and his forehand, but on clay they are mostly nullified because the surface is so slow. Supposedly the Spaniards tried to make the court they were playing on as slow as possible to give their clay courters the best chance and looking at the results it worked an absolute treat.

In tennis the surface the events are held on plays a major factor. I find my best results on tennis come around the clay and grass court seasons because some players, no matter how good they are, can't handle the surface. Hope that helps and if you ever need a tennis question answered I am more than happy to help.

Jack Daniels: you managed to pick 5/5 Serie A winners and that is a very hard thing to do, though you're lucky there were no upsets. If only you'd stuck to Serie A.. you'd be raking in the cash.

Yeah Jack, have you thought of dividing up these multis so that each one concentrates on just one sport or just one competition. In other words, one multi could have all EPL games, another one all Basketball games, another one all Cricket bets etc etc. As Knowledge said, a multi with those 5 Serie A games would have been okay.

Yeah I do that every week. It's just that I like to post the big ones up here. They always get a bit of talk. If I posted every multi I put in I'd be in twice as much pooh with the missus for spending so much time on the net.
