Full time Full Time Full time already.

Come on full time already Liverpool 2 Norwich 1....Don't blow it now.

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 12:41 AM

Reason being I have HT/FT Double of Draw/Liverpool at $4.50

Come on already it has been showing 90 minutes for at least 5 minutes

Got them in a multi with that result too.

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 12:45 AM

YES!!!!!!

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 12:46 AM

YES!!!!!!

Man that seemed to take for ever to end, especially since Norwich scored late too.

Woo Hoo Liverpool 2 Norwich 1. :D

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 12:57 AM

Cardiff 2 Vs Nottingham Forest 0.

What is with the Live score site sticking to 90 minute mark tonight for so long before showing full time tonight.

Still I am happy with this result too. :)

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 12:58 AM

Full time Cardiff 3 NF 0 :)

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 01:00 AM

Just gotta see Newcastle, Aston Villa +0.5, Wigan and Sunderland get up now.

knowledge 4th January 2005 02:03 AM

who are you talking to?

sparkus8 4th January 2005 02:05 AM

Mate you could be in a spot of bother with that multi as the mighty Crystal Palace are up 1-0 at HT!!! But i wouldn't be to worried if I was you because Palace always seem to get dudded late in their matches

The multi I had is still a chance. I had Newcastle, Blackburn(+0.5), Millwall and Sunderland.

Rovers are up 1-0 at HT, but Millwall and Sunderland are both 1-1 at HT in their games so hopefully those two come out firing in the second half!!

sparkus8 4th January 2005 02:29 AM

Palace 2-0 Andy johnson scores his second from a penalty!!

Sundreland and Millwall look like they are going to kill the multi as they are still stuck at 1-1 with around 20 mins left.

knowledge 4th January 2005 02:35 AM

championship football is not good to bet on.

sparkus8 4th January 2005 10:44 AM

Yeh it was pretty stupid in hindsight - got greedy!!

I'd had a couple of bourbons and was getting the scores off one of the lives score sites.

I got a bit excited, when Draw/Liverpool came off. Which was a good result for me.

But the multi went to ********e thanks to a dumbass performance by Newcastle against West Brom, Villa's woeful game against Palace and Sunderland's draw with Gillingham. :(

gizzard 4th January 2005 08:08 PM

You probably know this but the Livescore site is very frustrating in that once 90 minutes is reached it just stays there and gives no indication of time added on or how long into that time has been played.

As you found out, it can be a very nerve-racking time indeed!

knowledge 4th January 2005 08:38 PM

I think you'll find that the 5' minute mark on livescore games is usually about the time that the game actually starts. I know this because on foxsports it says 85' whe livescores has 90.

I hope that makes sense.

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 08:57 PM

Yeah I noticed that if a game says it starts at 15.00 and there is more than one game on that day they all start at the same time. Noticed it after watching a game on fox and keeping score on other games.

I guess it is only the internet. ;)

Why don't you guys try out the bbc website. It has pages for every game that update every two minutes or so with text commentary - much better than watching a scoreline update.

is there anywhere to get radio commentary for English games? I tried getting some from the Liverpool match last night but you have to subscribe.

I listen to live Serie A Italian commentary (free) but it's not much good if you can't speak Italian.

Jack Daniels 4th January 2005 09:48 PM

I heard from a mate who doesn't have net access at home that he listens to matches on the radio. I'll try to find out what station. BBC or something I guess. I'll let you know.

knowledge 4th January 2005 09:52 PM

thanks pal.

sparkus8 4th January 2005 10:58 PM

On the BBC website their is link to five live radio, but it wont let anyone from outside the UK listen to premier league games. You can usually listen to the FA and Carling cup games though.

Also you can usually get a game on saturday night on the BBC world feed. It is 630 on the am band in Sydney. Another place you can try is radio 2, they also usually have a game on saturday night. That station is 1611am in Sydney.
