Huge run Proud Native, never given a chance the way he was ridden but made many many lengths up in the last 200. Probably not a horse suited by big fields as he is ridden for luck a bit, but with any he could beat anything. He will win his next start.

Agree 100% Mr ed. My top pick as well, most annoying not given any real chance. Next time hopefully.

Couldn't agree more with both of you never had a chance where it was.

I didn't see or hear that race. Where was he? Back last? Because that's exactly where he was last start and pretty much where he was expected to be this start too. If so, he certainly wouldn't have been suited by the fact that most of the winners were racing up near the lead and on the rails.

The horse that won is a funny old bloke. Wont win unless he's over 10/1 but can win any race on his day. I've been backing him whenever he starts at over 10/1 for a few years now and have had some great wins. The last race on cup day a few years back probably being the best. Turned my losing day into a big winning day!

Anyone who saw Inspire's win in the Sale Cup (in very fast time) a few starts back would have had to have a least a little EW on Saturday. Apart from his last start failure (there were excuses) he has been in fine form of late.
