I backed Wool Spinner at it's first start. I thought it was a good run and it showed plenty of promise. Might be short today though. Birubi Pomp will be good value.

doing my ratings ( they are the ones I posted) I think wool spinner is well under the odds, but doin them the Tassie tote way it comes out on top at about $2.90... I don't think that is available on the totes but you may might get it elsewhere... there could be a smokie among those maiden girls :)

I think Langfibian has a chance also and you haven't got it in your ratings?

Well, Wool Spinner did get there in the end, but it wasn't great value.

Ah well the punters got it right... when they get it right I usually get it wrong.. ah well... time to look at the next one.. Playing with the Tassie ratings, they have the first 2 winners (Cessnock) on top... mind you $1.6 and $2.4 they really aint skiting material tho.. for sale R1 I have the Tassie ratings worked out as 5-1-7-4 (Monday's... don't ya love em, I cant rememeber a real good Monday result for a fair while)

I usually just ignore races with less than 8 starters, so I didn't even think about that one.

the average age of that lot was about 130... :) and they send out a moderately performed bloke at odds on... it was worth taking him on .. I had him at about $5..so i backed 3-4 -6-7

Well done XPT. You took a bit of a risk. A 6 horse field and you backed the whole field except for the 2 favourites! Mind you, it's amazing the number of times that favourites get beaten in small fields.

Thats how i bet... if they are under what I reckon they should be I leave them alone... this David Payne thing will prob win at Cessnock but I aint on... it;s too short
