CHEVAL DE TROY came off a 2 month break to be beaten about 1 len by Jymcarew in the Canterbury Guineas. JYMCAREW the main danger.

The Graeme Rogerson trained SVENSKA looks a staying night, include as next best.

OUTBACK PRINCE should be improved by last and will look a winning chance at some stage in the straight.

I must be an idiot. Someone educate me please. Why is Nevis in the market?

This is a 3yo Group 1. It's best run so far - a win in a 3yo class 6 at Randwick, with LESS - note that, LESS - weight than it will carry tomorrow.

So it goes from winning a 3yo class 6 to a group 1, goes up in weight, (and BTW gets beaten 5.5 lengths by the main chances in the meantime) and ends up $5.50?

Someone explain this, like I'm a 4 year old.

She was smashed last start...and should of probably won...great jockey and improving,,and the distance is perfect for her...but you are right,,should be a 10/1 chance .
but does have shot at this ..

I really think these two have a class edge. They look the big improvers out of the Canterbury race. Both Jymcarew & Cheval De Troy have had plenty of racing and were race fit last start.
