Gday darky,

isn't that where this one was authored ? :)

Duritz 27th March 2005 11:50 AM

Did the Australian tipsters go well yesterday?

Hey it occurs to me that if this system was written 35 years ago, as it has to have been to have been locked in a vault for that long, then the journo's upon which it was based are no longer there!

La Mer 27th March 2005 12:26 PM

Nor was the Australian newspaper around 35 years ago.

darkydog2002 27th March 2005 12:50 PM

ONLY HAVING A BIT OF SPORT.

Actually I believe this one was called the BLUE RIBBON and yes its very old .The principles were the same only I adapted it a fraction.
It was actually sold as the worlds greatest system and my guess in terms of win % it would outperform most on the market .The prices on offer though would be so small that you would never make a profit with it.
It looks plausible though and my 2nd guess is that some smarty will adapt it a bit more and flog it again.
It seems to have gone round and round the system market for many years now in various forms not unlike the ROYAL ROUTINE.
I will see if I can dig a few more out of the attic.

Heres one from the vault.
Back all paper Favs $3.00-$4.00 in paper.
Races 1-4 only
Fav must be TAB Nos.1-3
Bet 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,ect, Progressivly & reduce by the odds it ends up paying
e.g. it bet was $7 & wins at 2/1 next bet would be 5 then 6 then 7 until another winner.

The mob that had this said that this has been prooven over 10 years & was created by a bookmaker (yeah right).

darkydog2002 28th March 2005 11:35 AM

This one actually threw up some very high priced winners.
The first time I used it it got a 25/1 winner and I nearly SxxT myself.

kenchar 26th October 2005 05:42 PM

Hey Darky,

That ain't too bad at all I just checked S M B A for today and there was 12 bets for a return of $11.98 using IAS SP so shopping around for odds I'm sure a profit for the day was there.
Using my method of stopping 1 point up it would have been a successful day.

Thanks for that.

darkydog2002 26th October 2005 05:54 PM

KENCHAR.

No worries.

I never really tried it myself so am glad its of some assistance to you.
I cant remember who sent it to me or whether it would work long term.
Cheers.
darky.

kenchar 26th October 2005 06:35 PM

Darky,

It's amazing how similar it is to what I do except I look at the 3rd AND 4th fav and don't ALWAYS back the blowie, sometimes I will back a horse that is coming in, it just depends on odds movements from various sites, and I can sometimes let 10 races go before I find a bet.
Today was my perfect day M2 crepes and I got $2 place fixed odds.
1 bet, half the average weekly wage and finished.
I love it.

Cheers

kenchar 26th October 2005 08:08 PM

Darky,

I just had a thought, try to remember who sent that to you, as he or she is on the right track but haven't quite got it right.
Get them to join the forum and and post and I will see if I can help in anyway as I am always willing to do so.
As far as it holding up, just backing the 3rd fav that blows on IAS I don't know but I don't think much damage could be done using this method and I should imagine most days if you stopped in profit it might be OK.
The way I do it, it has held up for a few years now and hopefully will continue to do so.
It's actually suprising how many people I converse with off the forum that have adopted my ideas and are now getting profits for the first time in their lives.
They don't do exactly the same as me, but similar using my ideas with their way of doing it, as it is impossible for me to explain exactly what I see.
I had an email from a new convert on Sunday and that pleases me that I help people.
It actually gives me great satisfaction to know I am helping and the only reward I get is the satisfaction and not monetary.
The only thing that eludes me though is the damn win method.
Everytime I think I have cracked it, it falls in a hole.
I guess it's what I posted a few years ago I'm Percy the place punter for ever, but at over 10K a month it's not that bad.

Cheers

trench digger 28th October 2005 08:48 AM

Hi Kenchar,

can you direct me to where you can get fixed odds for the place.

Thanks.

kenchar 28th October 2005 11:23 AM

Hi,

Centrebet ( The old sportodds site ).
Ok sometimes but they are a bit shy with their odds.
I usually either bet with the tabs, or IAS SP which is worked out I think from the price paying on 3 tabs added up and divided by 3 plus a small % on top, and I have got good divis from it.
The main time I use Centrebet is if my selection is showing say around $1.8 on the tabs and I can get $2 fixed with Centrebet then I go that way.

Hope this helps.

are you some sort of party clown ........cheers..............gazman......

Duritz 3rd November 2005 12:48 AM

Here's one I came up with a number of years back because PPM were having a systems comp:

Must be 1400m +

Must be 1st up

Must be barrier 1, or barrier 9

And that was it. Genius system, won HEAPS the year I tested it. Could've sold it for several million dollars, no doubt. One of the finest bits of reverse engineering you'll ever see, that.

You should've seen what I wrote as my reasoning for it in the entry. What a crock.

darkydog2002 3rd November 2005 08:57 AM

GAZMAN

When I wrote that bit of nonsense it was after being privy to a day of selections from what was supposedly a top class rating service.

Out of a total of 38 bets it had 1 2nd at $1.80.

One would have done better with a dart and dartboard.

Cheers.
darky.

If PPM have another competition like that I might send in 1 of Bazzas ( with a minor variation ).
It would be good for a laugh if nothing else.

Cheers.

I remember that competition.

Did you ever use any of the 3 placegetters.
I think one dealt with SECTIONAL times.

Cheers.
