The form of Fashions Afield is faultless here and she must be rated on top. I like the Melbourne form for the dangers. Danger Looms ran on powerfully at Flemington over 1400m and the 1600 looks ideal, while Under the Floor, which finished second, was having only his 3rd race start and is open to improvement.

MEDIA hit the line as well as anything in the Slipper and looks to be suited by the 1600M. RS Dye rides. Has a strong winning chance.

Only defeat for FASHIONS AFIELD in 5 starts was her gallant 2nd in the Slipper. Strong win in the Sires last start and should be able to rise to the occasion again.

I liked the way WRITTEN TYCOON got to the line in the Todman. Failed in the Slipper but had excuses. He is worth another chance. Follow.

The Gai Waterhouse ASTRONOMIA meets Replicator better at the weights for her last start narrow defeat in the Fernhill over 1600M. Did look to improve sharply in that race but previous form was solid. Could easily go on with it.
