Galloping Away

i looked at the score in the Broncos game and i saw: 42-0, with 2 minutes to go. The commentator says "well the Broncos look like breaking their biggest win record of 54 points today" i was amazed, before i looked at the clock again and saw it was only the first half!!! what a comback from Wayne Bennetts mob after their failure against the Storm. Where does this leave the eels? :D

thefan 10th April 2005 02:18 PM

what a great game!!! the biggest problems i see with the eels is when they lose, the lose bad..they dont play footy anymore but rather,a game of taking down players hard..

Chuck 10th April 2005 02:34 PM

Broncos have scored another try 3 minutes into the 3nd half: 48-0

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:38 PM

..and the final score Broncos 54 Eels 14!

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:39 PM

7 unanswered tries in the 1st half to lead 42-0 at half-time

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:43 PM

and just 1 week after suffering the biggest loss in the club's history - going down 50-4 to the Melbourne Storm

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:43 PM

..what a difference a week makes!!

Floydyboy 10th April 2005 04:43 PM

well I suppose that puts paid to the hooodoo

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:45 PM

.. and of course the Melbourne Storm went on to lose by 20 points to the Panthers this week!!

Paddy 10th April 2005 04:46 PM

....I think I need a new form guide! :(

Paddy did you really need to post 6 different posts then? ;)

Chuck 10th April 2005 06:11 PM

i'd really like to know :D

Jack Daniels 10th April 2005 09:04 PM

Paddy had about as many posts as Souths scored tries today.

Good win to the Bunnies.

thefan 11th April 2005 09:03 AM

Im sharing the love this week to the bunnies and raiders.....cheers,cheers,cheers

Floydyboy 11th April 2005 10:23 AM

I wouldnt have backed the Bunnies this week but i was glad to see em win but I wouldnt have backed Newcastle either especially at the short odds However I couldve been tempted to back Canberra at home ......What is happening with the roosters anyway I thought that half back they bought was pretty talented .......are the forwards not performing ???

thefan 11th April 2005 01:42 PM

i cant see the roosters as this years contenders. they brought pretty well with monaham and amos roberts....this try scoring trio havent been playing their part as of latley.

On the other hand the bulldogs form havent been so well too. But they have never played with a full strength dog squad in 05 yet.. Weve gotta wait n see.

Match of the round. Roosters/bulldogs.

Searay 11th April 2005 04:15 PM

The roosters i think will take 2-3 years to adjust to life without Brad Fittler, no question about that. You cant just take the worlds most dominant performer (as far as a team goes) out of the side and expect to get immediate results. Yep they bought well , but freddy fittlers influence and presence to all those players was so crucial to their success. You can see y finch played so well inside him for 2 years, why wouldnt u if u had the best 5/8 outside u who was going to take so much pressure off u. Now finch has all that pressure to himself and a whole lot more because all the players around him will expect him to play as well as he did when freddy was around.I also reckon ricky f---s around with his starting team too much which places undue added pressure as well.

Just my opinion.......CHEERS

Mr J 11th April 2005 04:18 PM
