Songs Of Vienna has the pace to either lead or be up with leaders and should run out a very strong 1200M. She might not have a flash win strike rate but looks to be racing in the best form of her career since returning from a spell. Great effort when she went down by a short half-head to Skewiff in the Schweppes Stakes. EW all day for me.

I've got no doubt Via De Lago has a good Straight 6 win in her, she just loves this track. So what better race to back her in then the Straight 6, she ran a super race against Raid the Royals last time and gets a further 2kg off him, possibility of a wet track only enhance her chances and she looks a great e/w hope.

I could cry right now I through up the idea of taking a triffecta in this race but instead to a 4 horse quinella with Songs of Vienna, Via De Lago, Cahuita and Medium Swing with General Bayton as my 5th pick. I will admit I would never have had a 1st 4 but I am furios I didn't have the triffecta bet usually I wouldn't even think about it would have just put it on hopefully the protest gets up I might get better odds in the quinella plus I had my bigger bet on Songs of Vienna but did also back Via De Lago.
