Melrose Gardens e/w all day for mine, she is a real up and comer from the in-form Matty Ellerton yard. Toyed with them on debut @ Bendigo when backed from $2 into $1.50 after 5 mins, that tells me the stable has a high opinion of her. Has gone right on since and looks perfectly placed in this event. Unknown quantity is Moet Magic, who has terrific Perth form and is clearly Melrose's main danger.

McEvoy trained Little Chloe has resumed with 2 very nice runs think she can turn the tables on Melrose Gardens who she meets better weight wise

In big fields (14+), I don't mind having a small bet on any horse which has a 'c' in it's form and is starting from the inside or outside barrier (like Command 'N' Conquer today). Well, like feather, I used the Courier-Mail and it only had a 't' next to Exalted Ego. If it had a C there, I probably would have at least thrown $1 EW on it or something. |
