Windows 10 Alert
 

Don't install the Windows 10 Fall Creators update 1709.
It self installed and I lost my desktop completely, it created a new user account the same as my original and I lost everything, on top I lost access to the Microsoft Store. There are numerous posts about it everywhere.
Google how to defer Creators updates.
I'm having a really bad run.....
I had the bug from CCleaner
My Facebook account was hacked
Then the Creators Update
Then the NBN debacle where I had no access to email, internet or telephone.
I've spent the last month fixing and trying to restore from backups :(

NBN is the worst thing to happen with Fibre to the node. Its atrocious.

I tend to stop my pc from doing updates. I just won't allow it. You need to google around for the solution but you can stop the updates from happening and then apply them only when you want.
