Clarification of rules?
Thanks for the post Schmile,

Hi Eddy,
Thank you for the clarifying question, I hope this message finds you well! Increase bet after loss. Trying to even out the $$$ coming in from place selections. |
Selections:
2 units Wyong 8 - 12 Standing Bear $41 If Wyong selection wins, back to 1 unit bet, if it loses, 5 unit bet Pakenham 7 - 1 Tarn's Prince $26 The selections come from a times based system, using the qualifying race rules mentioned in the original post. Two long shots today, so it's either caviar or two minute noodles. |
Based on today's selections, it may be better off aiming to win a set amount, say .7 units in each 3 bet sequence, capping the mimimum bet at 1 unit to grab the excess $$$ if the long shot places.
So today with two long shot selections, you don't necessarily need to use the 1,2,5 bet sequence. Simply even stakes or a slight increase in stake for Tarn's Prince at Pakenham to secure a profit if it wins. Using even stakes when the prices are high might be the go. Or even 3 sequences of: 111 222 555 Stopping at a winner, or any time you are in profit. Interested in any input. 🙌 Note: To make a profit chasing/making up for previous losses, we'll need a system that can beat the takeout. |
