Thinking of starting this up again soon. Are any of the regulars still around? Who wants to have a go?

Hopefully we get a few more people, but if not, that's okay. It's still a bit of fun.



SPRING TIPPING COMP 2024

We will all be tipping against each other from this Saturday, Aug 31, up to the end of October, then, the finals will be on the first three Saturdays in November.



RULES

1. Of the 9 weeks during the preliminary rounds, you must tip on at least 7 of them. You are allowed to miss 2 weeks. No more. People will have to start tipping by Sep 14 or they miss out.

2. You can post anywhere between 3 and 15 selections each week.

3. You can bet anywhere between $100 and $300 each week. The leading tipsters are judged on % profit, not the total amount of profit. So betting more overall won't give you a better chance. But you can change the amount you bet from week to week depending on your confidence.

4. You can tip at any Australian or New Zealand TAB gallops meeting on Saturdays.

5. On each selection, you can bet anywhere between $10 and $50 in multiples of $5. You can have any combination of win only or win and place, but you can't bet place only. Your total bet must add up to $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45, or $50.

6. Calculating your return: I will be using the closing tote and fixed odds prices on the Qld Tab and you will get whichever is the highest.

Sadly not. That's a bit of a bummer...
