New Ratings - Trialing some things
 

Hi All,

I've added some new things to my ratings spreadsheet but unfortunately can't backtest what i've added. So i've created this thread and will post PDF docs each day of what i'm doing and will provide updates when I can on the SR, POT, ROI etc.

Anyhow there are 4 things i'll be forward testing.

1) Betting top 3 raters if odds above $4
2) Betting 'SPECIAL' horses if in my top 5 raters and above $4 odds
3) Betting 'IMPROVER' horses if in my top 5 raters and above $4 odds (idea thanks to Barny)
4) Laying a selection of horses based on number of runners and if odds are between $4 and $20

All backing bets are placed fixed stake $5 and laying is to liability of $20.
