Is there a cookie handling problem here?

I've been having some weird problems here. Missing posts etc. I can click on a thread I've just posted too and find that often the post is not there or find an edited post not edited. If I click off the forum and remove all cookies and then return to the forum, the missing posts and or edits are there. Sounds like a site cookie problem as I don't have these problems on other sites.

Anyone else having problems here?

After putting up this thread and doing a check after clicking on 'Race Betting Systems Forum' the thread isn't here! Returning to the main page it is listed to the right and I have to click on that to access the thread. Very weird and this problem happened once before several years ago.

This thread has beem moved to the correct forum. Sounds like a cookie issue with your own computer to me. I'll alert our IT specialist to your post.

Let's get some details together regarding this so that we can see what is actually happening.

  1. Is anybody else suffering the same issue?
  2. What browser and version are you using (what browser addons are enabled)?
  3. Do you only remove cookies or cookies and cache?
  4. Have you tried another browser, if so can you replicate the issue?
  5. Do you run any security software/firewall software, if so what?
  6. Do you connect via a proxy service?
I personally cannot replicate the issue using 4 different browsers (firefox, opera, ie7, ie8).

Unless anyone else is suffer the problems I mentioned, I think I have solved the problem. [ie6] Under tools>temporary internet files>settings>check for newer version of stored pages> I have marked the 'every visit to the page'. Seems to work fine now, thanks.
