Bonus Bets for Excluded States..

Anyone have trouble getting sign up bonuses due to being from an 'excluded state'? I have a TopBetta link for all states if anyone needs it and looking to see what people do to get a bonus/get around their garbage laws.

Pat, you can only get what you get, if you know someone interstate ;) .
I find it ridiculous that some offers are excluding NSW, VIC, WA and SA.
Others exclude NSW only???
So QLD, ACT, WA, NT, and TAS are the only States that I think qualify for all offers.
Yet I live in Vic, and have been given offers by two betting agencies.
Another betting agency, offered me a matched bonus of $2,000 after I hadn't used them in ages. My limit per day via the bank is $1,000, so I couldn't take full advantage of it.
I'm totally baffled by all the limitations, yet allowances, it doesn't make sense

The limit you can change any time, but I agree, it's a hotchpotch of a system.

Take advantage of the bonuses and you get banned anyway.

True, if you only take advantage of the bonuses, you need to lose a few quid with them by arbing and pounce on the bonuses.
Blackdog, I can't change the limit via the bank, but I should just set up a third party holding account, which I will do soon.

State Govt nanny laws. Why should ********ant state governments be able to dictate to adults. Why do the bookies comply?

evajb001 7th August 2017 09:26 AM

Often the bookies don't comply - i.e. If your horse runs second or third get your bet back up to $50 excluding NSW, SA etc. I live in SA and i've got my $50 back every time even though they don't have to.

Unfortunately the rules are put in place to stop enticing the small number of people that are problem gamblers which in turn negatively affects the larger number of people that can use those offers to their advantage without being problem gamblers.
