RaceCensus Export Power
Just a note to explain the power of an idea via exporting data to excel from the database.
ALL data can be customised and exported to Excel. Here's an example system built on those foundations. Last start winner at Flemington. Racing within 31 days again at Flemington. There must have been more than one race over the same distance last start. Your blackbooker is the horse that ran over that distance in the fastest time. 56 selections 19 winners 29 placings Win Return $86.65 Place Return $52.00 Win POT 54.73% Place Loss 7.14% *NSW Tote dividends Maximum win dividend $14.70 Average Win Dividend $4.81 This is an example using Flemington only. |
Just ran 19 from 56 through the Binomial Confidence Limit Calculator.
It drops the actual Strike Rate of 34%. To a lower limit of 22%. 22/34 of 155% ain't anything to crow about. http://statpages.org/confint.html |
Nobody's crowing, it was an example of thinking outside the square.
Can your Binomial Confidence Limit Calculator include luck in running, track going, radius of turn and impact of radius arc on a horse's legs? :p |
Thanks CP for that but it must be Sunday night as I'm not sure what this means:
"There must have been more than one race over the same distance last start." |
Quote:
Flemington has say three races over 1400m on a particular Saturday. You take the fastest winning time over that distance and the winner is your blackbooker, when it next runs at Flemington, providing it's within a month. |
RaceCensus now has additional track classification.
Track classifications now are: Metropolitan Provincial Country |
All times are GMT +10. The time now is 05:23 AM. |
