I had a dream about Makybe Diva
 

Ok she had been entered in one last race in England or somewhere, it was a grass track and anti-clockwise, and we all knew she wasn't in top form going into it. Anyway, coming down the straight it was her and a chestnut horse out by themselves right along the grandstand, and she was battling laboriously, but just before the line she flattened her ears and kicked away by a half length, utterly defeating this thing that was travelling way better than her. She let him go past straight after the line, and she was exhausted when she pulled up. Then they said that was REALLY it, she was retired.

I had that dream a couple of days after the cup. Gives me goose bumps, cause I know she could do it too.

That was Choisir.

You couldn't tell coz you don't dream in colour.

Well, personally, I reckon the real thing last Tuesday was damn good enough for me. Who cares about some overseas race? 3 straight Melbourne Cups is as good an achievement as you're going to get for an Australian racehorse.

Makybe Diva you have to be kidding me Choisir might be the best sprinter this country has produced recently and after what he accomplished over in England almost pulling off one of the most amazing trebles how could you possibly say this horse sucks.
