Does anyone have a fav state they prefer betting on or place larger bets because they feel more confident in selecting winners in that state.

For me i prefer Brisbane racing for some reason , maybe because thay have less racetracks around the metro area which makes it easier to line up raceform.

Thoughts???

Prefer Brisbane for winter months – tracks tend to be of a better condition.
Remainder of year prefer Melbourne & of course Perth.
Also follow the carnivals around, wherever they might be at any point in time.

Since moving here I have found Brisbane form fairly easy to comprehend (newspaper coverage is adequate), and your comment about fewer provincial tracks is a very good theory.

I only bet Melbourne Brisbane 'Sydeny' on Saturdays anyway, my one exception for the year came 2nd in Adelaide, so I guess my vote is a little watered in any case.

I avoid Adelaide as I find it very hard to pick winners there. My best is probably Sydney.

I prefer WA for making money - just dabble on the major carnival races over East. There's only two Metro tracks here - summer track is always rated fast, winter track is rarely worse than dead. Times here are the best guide to form.

Sydney for me. The metro. betting markets at TF are usually below 110%. The city tracks are good too - yes I even like the Randwick Inner.
Don't waste my time on Adelaide - markets 130% +. Getting to view Brisbane the same way too, now the bookie markets are 130%.

Brisbane for me. No question. Worst results at Sandown. Some shocking days at Sandown.
