Another System idea ....

Thought I might post a system thread again since I haven't seen many lately.

Here is an idea just for fun that someone might be able to try out...

I have noticed that a lot of the winners lately have either had the highest WIN % or the lowest WIN % of the horses competing. Here are some rules to look at :

1. Horse must have highest win %.
2. Horse must have won at least once
3. If 2 selections then skip race.

And the other system.

1. Horse must have lowest win %.
2. Horse must have won at least once
3. If 2 selections then skip race.

I would be interested to see which of these actually performs better in regard to POT. I would assume the second ( lowest winning % ) would be a lower strike rate and higher POT.

Anyone want to test it out ? They are fairly simple rules.

Good Luck.

Just for ones interest - Horses with the highest ranking win percentage have a win SR of 20% of all races based on 4.5 years of results for a -14% LOT.

One will find that they are usually lowley priced ($4.30 & less) & rarely offer mid-high prices.

Ahhh, just a small point, but surely if the horse has the highest win %, then it would have won at least once!!! :D

Normally the kids are running amuck by now, but the family are visiting the inlaws overseas, so here on me Pat Malone at the moment. AS for the punting, i am formulating a major assault for tomorrow. Merry Xmas and good luck to all beating the punt.
