Greyhound Weight

A couple of questions regarding greyhound weight;

1/ What is considered an acceptable weight variation from race to race?

2/ Is it possible to tell (apart from been at the track) whether the weight variation say from 6 to 8 weeks prior to the current race date is a result of lack of fitness or muscle growth? Perhaps looking at the form guide (Watchdog).

Cheers, Mrfugly.

the weight should not fluctuate more then .5kg for a dog around 30kg to 35 kg if it does it can be number of things like sickness or dehydration, imagine you losing that much weight per percentage on an 8okg person around that is too much a change normally.
