The Jet and the Jazz
 

Well the Jazz won today at Albion Park. paid 5.30 and 2.00. so thought id run a new thread tellin u guys about whats happening with them and hopefully i can lead u to when they r goin to win. the jet ran thursday night and got beat 3 lengths to run fifth. should've walked it in but he got stuck behind a dog on the rails the whole way round and never clear til after the post. he's in on tuesday at the gold coast over 622m. big risk. he's got the 4 box in an ordinary field and by right should start 2/1 on. but he's getting a bit long in the tooth turning 4 yesterday so the distance is a big query. if he leads only the seven can run him down. The Jazz is in again on wednesday night and has finally drawn a box over the 520 at Ipswich. With a little luck at the first turn he'll run a cheeky race however Tony Brett will start the favourite from box 5, Ariel Flyer. This dog with only a handful of starts made the Group 2 Queensland Futurity Final last night at Albion and ran fourth so it looks mighty hard to beat. look out for the jet next thursday over 600 at Albion down in grade. hopefully he can draw the 1 or the 8 and he'll be a chance against whatever.

well i don't think i could've predicted the race any better yesterday. The Jet ran second.... started close enough to 2/1 on at $1.70.....found the 622m at the coast was too far.....got run down on the line to lose by a half......and it was the seven that ran him down. The Jazz is in tonight as i said and is a nice place chance. The jet is in again on thursday night and will be lining up for his 179th start. tough field, the 1 is quick early and only wins when it leads. the 6 has just started to show it's true ability with some quick times at Ipswich but be careful with tommy noble's dogs. his dogs just dont keep racing at their peak and once they stop they dont really come back....... good luck.

well a couple of average runs. the jazz ran 4th on wednesday at Ipswich getting beat 11 lengths by the odds on pop. got checked a couple times and maybe shouldve finished 2-3 lengths closer but no better. just an average dog at this stage and isnt too strong. he's in tomorrow at Albion and again comes up against one of tony brett's dogs. Bogie Rose who also won last friday when the jazz did but in much faster time. another in the field rapid lee also ran similar time the same day so he's in for a tough one. he's in again in a heat of the Ipswich Auction series on tuesday which has a 40,000 to the winner prize in the final. he's drawn the rails in an average field with the main danger being the 7. reggie kay has a high opinion of this dog. definite place chance.

the jet raced last night and ran 7th of 8. completely flat from tuesday's run still. he just wasnt himself but i thought that was a distinct possibility after leading for 99% of the race on tuesday. he's only drawn as a reserve on monday back to the 520. if somehow the 1 or 2 can scratch he will be a real good chance from the inside draw.

if bettin in the jazz's race tomorrow box him up with the two i mentioned above in a tri. he will run well but might not be good enough
