As far as I know there is only these 2 which are group1 races on saturday as well as the Doncaster on Moday which I will put on another thread.

Raw, the WFA sprint race called the TJ Smith on Saturday is also a group 1 race but the acceptances aren't out for it yet.

I still think it's a big mistake not having the Doncaster on the Saturday. I can see what they're trying to do in making it a full 4 day carnival like Flemington, but there are other big races they could have on the Monday. I think it would be better to have the Derby AND the Doncaster both on the Saturday.

Agree completely mate. Derby/Doncaster day used to be very close to the best day of racing in the country.
