Ok, just thought i would start a where are they thread, for ppl wondering where certain horses are. Some ppl here are "in the know" as to what certain trainers are doing. So this might help some ppl out.

Ill start. Anyone know if Strawberry Malt is still around?? I know it was in an accident earlier this year but anyone have any news on what its doing?

Hi HW,,,have seen the horse listed in track gallop times ...hasn't trialled yet so it looks like they are doing the right thing and taking there time with her..
just love this horse,,,
has heaps of talent and was tragic to see her breakdown...
will keep an eye on the trialls for you..

cheers mate, ive watched the horse for a while now and been on it most of its starts. the last win it had over shysu was one of the best fighting wins ive seen. very interested to know whats happening with it. thanks mav, appreciate it.

picked a tuff race for her though,,,alot of speed and class,,,..i'll be watching her go round me thinks..

just though of another one. anyone no anything about where MAN OF ILLUSION has gone?? i heard it was over seas a while back but i wasnt sure if it had been sold to go overseas or if the owners had just taken it over there for a few races??

I heard he won a good race over there in the US ,,,,that lasix stuff can do wonders....
havent heard about him in awhile though...

yeah thats what i heard. ive been looking out for it, the last win it had in brisbane was something special.

HW that last win that Man of Illusion had in brissie was to be his last run in australia as he bled for the 2nd time there meaning he had an automatic ban from racing in australia, After that the owners sent him to america for his new racing life as they can use Lasix over there to help control bleeding and apparently improve there racing ability a bit to.

Man Of illusions owner posts on another forum I visit--he won a GIII race at one of his first starts in US, but has been downhill since.
