WESMIP Potential system

Hi Wesmip,

Wondering if you read this could you test a system for me.
Rules are:

1. Horse must be resuming from a spell (30 days?)

2. Horse must have won first up.

3. Same jockey must be on board as last start.

4. Must have won at track in question.

5. Distance 900m-1200m

6. Unitab rated at least 95.

Thanking you in advance if you can do this.

Can I assume you want horses that have resumed from a spell and are at their second start ( Horse must have won first up ) ?

Based on my assumption which I posted previously:

You get a 101% return ( 1% profit) on WIN bets.
Place Bets show a 22% loss.

There are not many bets either.

Bets : 148
Win Return :148.90
Winners : 40
Place Return : 115.8
Placings: 70

There were a lot of short priced winners.

Good Luck.

i think youngbuck wants horses that first up this run, and have also won first up previously in their careers

Ah ok ....

Here is the stats on that :
Not many bets at all but :

Bets : 124
Winners : 24
WIN $ : 82.90
PLACE $ : 85.40

Return is a loss of 33%.

Good Luck.

Here is a system that is unashamedly backfitted :

1. Same Jockey as last start
2. Last Start must have ran first or second.
3. No Resumers
4. Must have won on the track up to 3 times ( ie. won once, twice or thrice but after that they are over bet and there is no value ).
5. Unitab ratng of at least 97
6. Field size 8-12 inclusive.

Made a profit of 10% while averaging 75 bets a months and a strike rate of 26%. 12 out of 16 months were in profit over the test period.

This system could probably be slimmed down into something more useful with a higher strike rate and better POT but is not bad for a quick system.

Good Luck.

I know this is a little off topic but if i wanted to know the average starts of a horse after a spell before it wins and was aged between 4yo and 6yo and had a 30% win strike before the spell is there a way to get this answer

YoungBuck 8th January 2007 10:07 AM

Thanks wes. I did actually mean the system chuck said. The mistake one looks as if you could eek out some profit shopping for prices. The real one i wanted has terrible results, although looks promising as a lay system with those losses. Your final one seems good too, and alot of action as well.

Thanks for your time.

WESMIP

Would you suggest using it DAILY on ALL races venues OR just METROPOLITAN races.?

Cheers and thanks.
darky.

wesmip1 8th January 2007 03:14 PM

darky,

That result was for all races every day.

I haven't run it for metropolitan only.

thanks.
