Gold Coast 5th May

Just seeing whos got any thoughts on todays gold coast meeting?

Ive got a couple i like but i never do well at the coast so im hoping to turn things around today.

R1 Elegant Roi has shown before hes good enough to cross from a wide alley and still have enough at the finish to get home, Although there seems to be a bit of pace on so that might suit Pheonix Express who should be fit enough now, and as always......Rumbird flashing late to get into the black book.

R2 Dicktator looks a good chance here, with very little pace on, and on a known leader biased track, ill be having a bit e/w.

R6 Tornado Alley for the same reasons as Dicktator, although the 1300 worry's me. Will give a good sight for the money.

R7 Dracs Back was very impressive last start, if Omnitrader goes forward and puts the pace on with Desert War it might just take enough out of him to make the old boy vulnerable.

For me today there are 2 good bets

Race 1 Decerto I think he has too much speed from the gate, so should lead without too much effort from gate 1. Have watched his last 2 wins and he has gapped them and won in time which I don't think the rest could do

Race 4 Splashing Out I think this will be a repeat of her last win, sitting up outside the lead and just being too good for them

Wise One

Geez wasnt race 4 full of horses with excuses. IMO if the jock on My Lady's Chamber takes it to the outside it wins.
