Each Way Staking Plan

Does anyone know of a staking plan for e/w betting as I'm currently watching a geyhound system that ave 96.3% strike rate following individual boxes.

For that SR just about any staking system, including flat stakes % of bank will do well I think.

Hi Mad Gambler are you backing a box until it wins? If your not why would you need a staking plan for that strike rate? put your house on it.

no. it's a single box only and the s.r is now down to 46.9% due to a run of outs.

Mad Gambler,

Well you haven't really had any positive replies and although I'm basically a % of bank flat stakes punter, you might like to try this staking plan I've seen that would be OK with a high strike rate system.

Divide your bank for the day (betting money) by 9 to decide your first stake (bet).

If this selection is unplaced:

Divide bank by 9 again to find your second bet

Continue dividing by nine until you back a placegetter.

After a placegetter

Divide bank by 5 (always divide by 5 after a placegetter)

If next selection loses:

Divide bank by 7 to find the next stake

If lose

Divide by 9 and continue dividing by 9 until a placegetter

In summary

1/9th of betting bank until you get a placegetter

1/5th of betting bank after a placegetter until a losing bet

1/7th of betting bank on next bet

If 1/7th is placed stake 1/5th on next bet

If 1/7th is unplaced stake 1/9th on next wager.

Cheers.

Crash, are you talking about place only betting there?

crash 27th June 2007 01:09 PM

Hi Party,

Your plum tree seems to be doing nicely lately :-)

Well I assumed the high SR was referring to the place SR not the win, so yes its a place staking system as I have know idea of the win SR or what % is being backed for the win and what % is for the place. It is easily modified for e/w.

I like 1x6 for e/w personally and with the above staking method:

In summary:

1/9th of betting bank until you get a placegetter

1/5th of betting bank after a placegetter until a losing bet

1/7th of betting bank on next bet

If 1/7th is placed stake 1/5th on next bet

If 1/7th is unplaced stake 1/9th on next wager.

[round up or down to nearest 50c or $1]

1x6 e/w: For each of the above steps 1/6th the win and 5/6ths. the place or If 1x4 e/w, 1/4 of each of the above steps for the win and 3/4 for the place. Treat any winner as a placegetter.

I'm trying it out today at 1x6 e/w on these:
SEYMOUR
3/9
4/9
5/4
6/3
7/8
8/7

This is an upadate to let you know how the system is going.

There have been 341 races from 23/6 to0 28/6

number of winners 67.

number of placegetters 171.

At the moment it's showing a loss, but i hope to make a profit when i sit dow and go over data, but that's after an other 2 or 3 months worth of data.

will keep you imformed of it's progress.
