Hi can anyone tell me if there is a website where I can access form guides going back a year? I only need saturdays form guides.

luckylouie,

This has been sought after by many and unless you are willing to pay a decent price, you won't get previous formguides with the information you require.

Many have approached Sportsman and other publications etc. They just don't and won't supply them. I personally contacted many companies which supply the TAB's with their guides and asked if I could archive them on a website. (Save the existing one's each week that is and make them available).
The flat answer was NO!
Copyright etc.

Ridiculous when you consider they are actually erased after a certain period of time. Only their main database is held onto but not the daily form guides they told me.

I know you can get archived results on CD etc from the TAB, but not formguides as such.

You can get comprehensive 5 start historical form for 50 cents a meeting from http://www.virtualformguide.com - relatively economical if you just want Sat metrops.

Thanks for the info Shy, I'll go have a look. Thanks also to Equine for explaining why the TAB won't supply. Seems pretty lame to me.

If you're after WA only form, the WATC has an excellent resource going back 6 years at
http://www.waturf.org.au/scripts/ws...rf/findinfo.hts.
This has race results going back Feb 1996 for all WA meetings and from 1999 onwards has the race book archived in Adobe format.

lucky louie,
as a last resort you can always go to the main library in you state and look up the old newspapers...i dare say some libraries may even have copies of old sportsmans...
cheers, noel
