Have been playing round with this one with some success, paper trading only so far.

Rules.

Check the opening prices from IAS
Back the opening price favourite if:
1. Horse is $2 clear of second favourite
2. Horse opens at 3.50 and under
3. Must be minimum of 8 horses

Results so far
(Exclusing todays results)
Outlay: 102
Return: 108.9
POT: 6.76%
S/R: 73%

Prices above were using IAS superprice, if you used betfair or could get best tote prices (don't know if best tote is offered anywhere???), results would obviously improve.

I'm sure using a few more filters could improve the results of this quite a bit, perhaps looking at fields of only 8-12.

If I get time, I will post the results for the days racing and see how it continues.


Any thoughts/suggestions, on any potential improvements will be welcomed.
