TAB's Vs Betfair Commission
 

How does Betfair's commission stack up against the TAB's commissions?
Most of the time I get better odds on Betfair compared to TAB odds, just wondering if there's like any concrete study done on this issue with odds comparisons?

I find most times the first few favs can be very close, some times it can favour the tab but most times betfair are on top.

The higher you go the more betfair increase the price difference.

Very hard to compare because one person could back a horse at $2.50 and another person could back the same horse at $2 or $3.50. Myself if I cann't get a the price I am looking for No Bet, willn't back anyhorse on the TAB because of the poor prices.

Betfair's Starting Prices has given me great value, plus the convenient factor, I don't have to sit at the comp and monitor the backers/layers prices all the time. I think I'm going to stick to the SP for most of my bets.
