gladiatorus must be some horse..anyone know its claim to fame?

I always find it funny how they can come up with these rankings when most of these horses never race against each other, and the US horses are always on top and they must be the least traveled horses of all.

From what I can see his main 'claim to fame' is his easy win Group 1 Dubai Duty Free earlier this year. The beaten brigade included Niconero & Tuesday Joy.

Who ran second to Gladiatorius in Dubai?. I remember it had great depth in its form (i.e. good runs in top class big fields) and then went on to win a big race at Hong Kong. Can't remember its name though.
