Lay Question

I got this possible lay method run over 5 years

Win	5265	70	$1,666	1.3%	-68.4%
Place	5265	428	$2,789	8.1%	-47.0%

Never layed nags before but question is?

If a horse is average $71 on local tote 5 mins to jump.
If I lay it @ $85/$90 for $20 will it get matched?

It will if there a win bettors wishing to take up your price.

The UK market definitely would.

I guess it comes back to liquidity in the market.

Best suggestion I can give is 'watch'.... That is have a look at a few races as they go.
However I think you will find that $85/$90 on a $71 shot a bit conservative; I've seen them as far out as $250/$500 on Betfair.
