Sheesh

One would have to be desperate to bet on any of these oxygen Thieves running around the Metropolitans tomorrow.
A sorry bunch indeed and come Monday probably off to the glue factory.

Cheers

You're right Darkydog2002! We certainly have been spoilt over the past 6 weeks or so but hasn't the quality "hit the wall" tomorrow. Bets will be reduced I think!

Geez mate if only they were machines and we could run the best horses every week.

I can't imagine to many trainers of top line horses setting their sights on the eclipse stakes as their main mission of the carnival.

darkydog2002 20th November 2009 04:09 PM

The Eclipse Stakes .
Just bought the dartboard out for that one.

Dane Julia
Poised to Win
Game Serena
Rose Syrah

The dartboard never Lies. Ho Ho
Seiously though I wont be backing anything in the Metropolitans Tomorrow.
Cheers and good luck to those who do though.

Darky if your not backing anything tomorrow you wont be betting for huge chunks of the year every year.

darkydog2002 21st November 2009 10:14 AM

Most of my betting is done at the country and provincials.
I can usually find 1 or 2 bets a day that are racing in the right class.
Today will be Kembla Grange as I have a better hope of winning there than some of these donkeys masquerading as racehorses in the Metropolitans.

All to their own I suppose and I guess the Border Collie will enjoy them when they package em up in "PAL" tins next week .Ho Ho.

Cheers and good luck today.

I noticed a bet of $34,000 today on Roof Raiser at 8/1 or 9/1 on IAS at Sandown Hillside. It had won its last two starts at the provincials and was ridden by Stacey Rawiller.

Cheers.
