I believe I finally understand how Greyhound racing works.
It ain't the dog that wins the race , it's the Box.
Fill that Box with a reasonable greyhound , and it goes well.
Put a reasonable greyhound in a crap trap , and it fails.
And the Best Boxes are usually the 2 inside and the outside Box.

The one I fancied got pushed into the running rail by number 4.
Hit pretty hard, mighta hit the rail twice.
How do you see that possibility in your handicapping?
Dunno how the dog mighta gone without it.
Mighta failed anyway.

I ended up safe after the race because I decided on an Extra $3 worth of Trifecta with the Publlic Favourite , which failed.
And I backed my Favourite and my second selection both for the win and as my 2nd selection won, I was okay.
It just won in a photo from my worst possible selection.
Now I need study why I had the 2nd placegetter as the worst possible Chance.
That is how you can learn to improve your ability.
