Hi all,

Some mighty fine racing for a Friday at Scone.

I've isolated my main picks:

Scone Cup 1600m

I like Mentality,Snow Alert and Parfumier.
Mentality - showed something like his best form running a close third to Brilliant Light. Will appreciate a hard surface and with the barrier I can see his price drifting to a tasty each way prospect.
Snow Alert - The penny may have dropped if you believe trainer Chris Waller. Has won 2 from 3 4th up.
Parfumier - Pat Webster reckons he'll find a length or two on the dry track.

Dark Jewel 1400

The top 3 have form around Beaded.
Illuminates - has been running really well this prep against the likes of Typhoon Tracy.
Renaissance - improving type by Lonhro.
Serenissima - Loves a dry track

Hard to go past Border Rebel and Star of Octagonal in the other features. Star of Occie with the barrier to overcome.

So Anyway....no dessert for me!!

Not even a place from the top 3 in Race 6.

Hoping Mentality, Snow Alert and Parfumier can round off a good day.

OK day, could have been lovely if Snow Alert had managed to get up!!
