What is meant by?

Hi all Members

I have noticed in reading archived posts "If the Fav is 2pts or less, in its price, than 3rd Fav, laythe Fav". Is 2pts in dollar terms? or in 10c terms ie 20 cents?

It's odds, e.g Horse 1 is 5.0 and horse 2 is 3.0 then horse 2 is 2 points lower than horse 1.
