Rosehill

Race 5 - Grand Rhumba (1) in great form around the minor tracks, loses 3k with a claim but step up in distance is a concern.
Race 7 - Sailor Sam (7) back from a hit and run success in Brisbane, hasn't run here but conditions suit.

Moonee Valley

Race 3 - Shiny And New (8) Got knocked about a bit near the turn last run and didn't like it, willing to give another chance.
Race 4 - Snow Alert (9) has had a couple of runs in classier NSW provincial and freshened to run here.
Race 6 - Shadows in the Sun (3) coming off a nice win at Caulfield in a midweek, not much track or distance form in this race so could pop up.
Race 8 - Whobegotyou (2) there will be value outside the raging fav, and he loves this track, dist and dead track wont worry him either. Shootout (6) will need to prove he can win here and run this far, but will be value.

Eagle Farm

Race 1 Macsquire (11) In great form and ideal conditions. Rock Rules (12) can put in a bad one like last time, but his minimum distance is 2000 so he should improve at bigger odds.
Race 3 - Hull City (8) Stepping up in distance here but is a midweek city winner and can match the others.
Race 5 - Mr Shadow Boxer (10) Poor effort last time, freshened and back in distance.
Race 6 - Warrior Within (10) last run wasn't that bad, 7 horses within 1.5L of the winner made a tight finish. Can go better.
Race 7 - Miss Imagica (10) freshened and consistent form.
Race 8 - Equable (2) Better than last run. Has had an 8 week letup and if kept fit can put in a good run here.

Morphetville

Race 1 - Starlite (3) Stepping up lot on distance but carrying nothing.
Race 4 - Devon Edge (7) in good form and can show up at odds.
Race 7 - Rowdy Rocker (4) Not sure what happened last time out, good letup, needs it further but could place at odds. Gilded Boots (9) getting on now but got knocked pillar to post in provincial race, could place.
Race 8 - Damascene (9) recently moved to SA from NSW, first run there wasn't too bad, should run well.
