NSW rider pleads guilty to theft
NSW jockey Bobby El'issa, who pleaded guilty to charges of dishonestly obtaining property and giving false evidence, has been suspended for three months. An inquiry yesterday found that El’issa stole the body protector of fellow rider Ray Silburn at a Queanbeyan racemeeting on November 11. He will be out of the saddle from December 13 to March 13. |
Maybe he thought he needed to wear two safety vests, just in case.
