Simply outstanding.

First Post for ages and manages to not pick the Trifecta, because the 3 animals that he rated the worst possible chances filled the 3 placings :(

I should go to that Fevola Rehab place, but it seems it is only a temporary cure.

Punting sucks!!!

I prefer to stay out of Races where there is little revealed Form, or lack of Class or Quality amongst the Runners.
PLUS , I'll either be drunk, asleep, or broke by that time of night.
But good Luck with it anyway.

BALLARAT Race 6

5 REALLY ELITE $2.9
2 OUR TOYMAN $3.6
6 FANTASY PHOENIX $7.5
1 HOLSTEIN MISS $10
7 KID CUDI $14
4 BACON BALE $30
8 PEDRO BOY $45
3 CUTTS ROAD $50

Another $5 worth of Trifecta here.
And when I say $5 worth, thats Total Investment, certainly not $5 per.

5,2 - 5,2,6 - 5,2,6,1,7

moeee 11th March 2011 07:38 PM

ballarat race 7

1 SHIRAZ GLORY $4.1
5 LEKTRA BOB $5.1
3 MELALUKA LAD $5.7
6 LADY LATINO $5.7
2 WHY NOT DOUGIE $12
7 COOL FURY $14
8 KELLY'S PIX $20

4 chances here.
boxem up in the tris and first 4 for $3 each flexi.

moeee 12th March 2011 12:03 PM

The MEADOWS Race 7

6 ASTON LUCAS $2.5
8 ROSE TAYLOR $4.7
2 BEE GEE MAC $8.7
4 ALLEN SHAUL $9.8
3 AMANDA BALE $13.5
7 VIVACIOUS GAL $13.6
5 TIGER'S REBEL $35

$12 a Win on #6 ASTON LUCAS
Wins easily if can get around the First Turn fairly safely.
The problem is to get an Overlay about it.
So then a better idea would be to Quinella 8,2,4
8 - 2,4 for $1
2 - 4 for 50 cents

moeee 12th March 2011 01:03 PM

The MEADOWS Race 4

3 KALDEN ATHENA $2.7
2 PUBS GALORE $3.7
7 WILD ARMS $10.6
5 LUCENT $11.7
1 ARTESTA $11.8
4 SOUL CALIBUR $14
6 LIMBURG POWER $50

Only 2 winning Chances here.
Both appear to be Underlays, but heres My Wagers if available.

#3 for $12 a Win
#2 for $8 a Win.

moeee 12th March 2011 02:20 PM

WARRNAMBOOL Race 7

3 BRANDEEN MARNY $2.4
7 BORN LOUIE $6.2
2 CRASH CART KEV $6.8
5 SHUNTED $11.6
8 HOT CHANCE $14
1 INVICTUS PHOENIX $16
4 MEPUNGA TITAN $33
6 GRASMORE $37

I'm figuring Brandeen Marny could mess this start up and is a poor bet if the $1.60 showing in The Watchdog is close to the Mark.
My Wager will be $4 on each of the Dangers.
7 BORN LOUIE
2 CRASH CART KEV

moeee 12th March 2011 03:56 PM

The MEADOWS Race 3

2 RUMBLE MISSILE $4
7 TOP PLEDGE $5
6 ZIPPSTAR $7.5
5 RED MARKER $8.4
1 KENYON BALE $8.4
4 ELLA PATCHE $9.2
8 GET SQUARE $16
3 MEL $100

The Odds suggest it is an Open Race, but that is not a bad thing.
The accuracy of the Odds is what counts.
I'll be backing the Biggest Overlay or the First Overlay starting from the top, or perhaps both.

Moeee thought you may like to read Darrens comments re tonight

And specifically Race 8.

I rarely post about my dog, Star Diamond, unless in response to a query. But just looking through the fixed odds for tomorrow night, they've got him marked at $2.60. I've made this point about him in the past, the dog trialed twice at The Meadows when I had him, ran near record back split both times and could only manage 30.30s. In a heat of the Silver Chief he ran 5.01 to the first split and fell in running 30.20 on a night where more races broke 30secs at The Meadows than any other night in the history of the joint. Another night there he must have led by six and ran 3rd or 4th from memory.

$2.60 looks well under the odds to me, even though I hope they're right and he bolts in.

People wonder why this dog can come from behind to win over 500m some nights, yet lead by anything up to 10 lengths on other nights and get run down, the secret I believe is that when he leads clearly he tries so hard on the lure that he quite simply has nothing left when turning for home. Whereas if he has found some trouble and not led for any reason through the back split, he saves enough energy checking off heels, etc to have that little bit more stamina for the last section.

This is totally consistent with his form.
