Race 4

1 5.121
2 5.111
3 5.204
4 5.183
5 5.224
6 5.093
7 5.103
8 5.233
#1 poorly drawn, may inconvenience the dogs drawn immediately outside of it.
#6 and #7 well drawn should get nice runs to the first turn.
1 25.663
2 25.328
3 25.361
4 25.258
5 25.256
6 25.237
7 25.298
8 25.450
when on the pace #6 runs 25.230 #7 25.128. best time the #4 has run from any 1st turn position is 24.949.
Last week they both met #4 was checked out during the slowest section of the race #7 was checked at the quickest section. Momentum is always the key

How is #7 Well drawn?
The ONLY Box it has never won from is Box 7.

woof43 28th May 2011 04:37 PM

It's only started 3 times on two turn tracks from that box. its been placed 50% of the time if your just going to measure it by wins and places.

I look at it a little differently, there is no pace in the 8 box and its wants to be wide, no early pace from boxes 3,4,5 that leaves the #6 and it moves in towards the rails at the start and stays centre of track.
#1 jumps good and pushes off the track and both 1 & 2 are not on the strong side at the finish.
That sort of set up to me means 6,7 are prime candidates, followed by the 4, 8 who may spoil the minors I'm hoping

Race 5

1 5.139
2 5.265
9 5.058
4 5.109
5 5.085
6 5.132
7 5.072
8 5.214

this is a sticky race Moeee, do you take the shorts about the red squandering another big lead, its 2nd sectionals are always ordinary.
#9 looks like the leader, then its a tight go with the 1,4,5,7 all being close at the first turn, #5 has the better 2nd sect. of that lot.
1 25.438
2 25.311
9 25.596
4 25.366
5 25.313
6 25.232
7 25.341
8 25.217
I'm looking for wider in the market for the winner.

talking about science,
I was going to scan a page from a booklet 1904, that's right 1904. that an american (andy beyer) later claimed was his work on speed ratings.
Nin S Hand is the name of the mathematician who was way ahead of his time.

The booklet cost US $5 at the time it was printed. Now to me it's priceless
