Betfair SP Results
 

While waiting for the Bug in BF's API to be fixed I decided to download a few days of BF's SP results; however I noticed that it contains many horses that were scratched - but it has a price beside it. So if you are using this data to test lay theories, cautions should be used!

Anyway I am finding out lots of things about how Betfair operates, so by the time I actually get to place a bet I will be an ************!

yes I also came across this the other day 4legs & I am sure this was not the case the last time I accessed their SP results, maybe 6 months ago or so

I sent an email off but no response so far, suggest you do the same as it's not good enough

I should have mentioned that - I sent one off last night as well but no response as yet either. I will let you know if I get one.

I received the following response from Betfair:

"Thank you for your e-mail.

Thank you for pointing this out to us.I have forwarded your enquiry onto our Content team for further investigation.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries".

Now all good!
 

Betfair advised this afternoon that all SP results from 1st June will be correct (ie without the scratchings). I had a quick look and they look fine.

I should also add that I have been impressed with Betfair's action and response.

And the correct prices traded as well?
Have noticed amounts and prices traded being incorrect or missing altogether when comparing with my statement.
Not only that, they managed to lose 2 years worth of my betting history "due to a bug".

Doesn't inspire confidence, but still the best way to make money ;)
