Lay The Train and Lay the Train V2
 

Here is another system I just found using my website.

There were 24142 horse form lines in the database at this point in time.
There were 120 selections for the System
There were 94 which Lost (did not win race) for the System for a strike rate of 78.33%
You had to pay out $86.72 but brought in $114 after 5% commission. This means a Profit or loss of $27.28 or a percentage profit/loss of 22.73%

Its called lay the train in reference to the old saying that enough weight will stop a train. The rules are:

Win Price <= 10 (I don't like to lay higher then this price )
TAB Number = 1
Distance >= 2000m
Bet Type = LAY

A quick change of the rule (Lets call this Lay the Train V2) to lay anything carrying 56kgs or more and you get :

There were 24142 horse form lines in the database at this point in time.
There were 529 selections for the System
There were 419 which Lost (did not win race) for the System for a strike rate of 79.21%
You had to pay out $445.21 but brought in $502.55 after 5% commission. This means a Profit or loss of $57.34 or a percentage profit/loss of 10.84%

To clarify the rules are :
Win Price <= 10 (I don't like to lay higher then this price )
Weight >= 56 kg
Distance >= 2000m
Bet Type = LAY

Not too hard to find but I do wonder how these will hold up over the next 4-5 months especially now they have been posted for the world to see.

There were 742 which Lost (did not win race) for the System for a strike rate of 79.1%
You had to pay out $827.30 but brought in $891.1 after 5% commission. This means a Profit or loss of $63.8 or a percentage profit/loss of 6.8%

Test Another System


The Rules used were : WinPriceLay <= 10 and weight >= 56 and distance >= 2000

Here is another variation on that system UB:

There were 376 which Lost (did not win race) for the System for a strike rate of 79.16%
You had to pay out $361.17 but brought in $451.25 after 5% commission. This means a Profit or loss of $90.08 or a percentage profit/loss of 18.96%


Test Another System

The Rules used were : WinPriceLay < 10 and horseNumber >= 1 and horseNumber <=4 and weight > 56 and distance > 2000

This hasn't faired so well with a loss of around $70 over the period

There were 1274 selections for the System
There were 525 races for the System
There were 1009 which Lost (did not win race) for the System for a strike rate of 79.2%
You had to pay out $1206.90 but brought in $1210.3 after 5% commission. This means a Profit or loss of $3.4 or a percentage profit/loss of 0.27%
