Weird fav Philby, looked totally out of form. I didn't lay it but couldn't for the life of me figure out why it was so short.

Thought it was an excellent chance, any reason given?

Hi Sands,

Yeah, that was pretty much my reasoning. Perhaps not woeful but not inspiring for a $2.40 shot.

He definitely has a potent finish when at his best. Needs a well earned break I'd think. Maybe not quite up to stakes class?

I was mostly going on this run 2 back in Listed class:

Result 3L 8th of 11 23 Oct 2011 NORTHAM R8 X X X X GOLD-NORTHAM CUP (LR) 3yo+ OPEN 1600m G(3) 34.91 / 1:35.68
TROY TURNER (6) 54.0/54.0 $101,175 Vet examination. 5--4-4 01-00-12 8-1 1st - 0.5L MONEGHETTI - WILLIAM PIKE 53.0, 2nd - 0.5L RINGMEISTER - DUNCAN MILLER 53.0, 3rd - 1L RAFFERTY - JASON WHITING 53.
