Escalator Staking Plan

The idea is to keep going, win, lose or draw until in profit.
Then start at the beginning.

It works if your system has a 22% SR and min price $3.20+

Lots---$
8 x .....1
7 x......2
6 x......3
5 x......4
4 x......5
3 x......6
2 x......7
4 x......10
5 x......15
Total $227
Run of outs

It would be a good idea to have 5 X banks of $227

You may wonder why one rarely sees staking plans on this forum

The reason I believe, is the SHEAR RAGE of personal abuse that follows .
From those who don't want you to have this information.

It is very difficult to show a profit at level stakes generally.
Most reasonable methods that target runners <=$5.50 , lose about 2-15% on turn over, at level stakes.

Staking plans ,like this ,have shown, that it can be turned around into a profit.

The most risky of staking plans, are those that try to recoup all losses all in one go, on low priced runners.
They are OK over a short run.

Remember : You need 22% at $3.20+ to make this work.
The 22% SR reduces the runs of outs in a row.

As with any new idea.
Give it a dry run first, using your favourite selection process, before using any real money.

Thanks for that.
I though it was because Staking Plans have been mathematically proven time and time again to be a nonsense.
Obviously I was in manifest error :(

The last 2 lines of bets in the sequence are a bit of a concern for me.
Looks as though they are "last throw of the dice" type bets.
Who knows, maybe it just may work.

STOP It Bernie - Your killing me :)

Lets talk seriously just for a moment .
How do you stake Bernie?
I wager according to the amount I feel the individual wager deserves.
But what often creeps in is that the wager gets highly influenced by what happened the previous wager or three , especially if they were losers.
I almost feel compelled and obliged to wager heavier to get my bankroll back to its previous state.
I believe this to be a common theme with many Punters who have no rigid rules.

EDIT: - JOSE!!
If you gone that many wagers into a sequence without realizing a Profit , then it might be a brilliant idea to simply throw it all away in desperation and start again.

May as well have the lot on the first bet and put yourself out of your misery early.

Hi moeee,

lol @ your reply to jose. Mine would have been try it and see. If it fails there are many others of Bhagwan's just as good.

To your question, I don't stake. I don't bet, or gamble as I prefer to call it. Studying systems has been a hobby of mine for over 40 years. Needless to say, I haven't found the winning formula and I guess I never will. However, it's a good work out for the grey matter and I enjoy the challenge of trying to find something that "works".

It's not hard to find a system that breaks even but trying to get something that remains in profit is another matter. I've never studied laying as for the life of me I can't see the point in picking losers. Going to the races yelling for the horse to slow down, fall over or what ever lay bettors do, is not my cup of tea. Yes, I do occasionally go to the races. I bet about $2 per race just for fun.

Yep, many punters chase loses. In my opinion chasing loses will never work unless one can accurately predict the length of a losing sequence. Something no one, to my knowledge, is capable of.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in this thread.
I have found it to be the most amusing and entertaining thread I have read in a long while.

Bernie.
