Some good country racing as is usually the case on Wellington Boot day.

Thought i would kick in some selections for some of the races and see if anyone follows my lead.

R5 - (1) Vicious Circle looks a good bet , main danger would be looks to be (2) Generator and chuck in (6) Blazing Origin for multiples.

R6 - Named after the most famous of Wellington Boot winners Iron Horse , I like (4) Handy Ivor at good E/W odds to beat (7) Silver Bliss and (8) Sonic Flight.

R7 - The Wellington Boot will be won by (10) Desert Ransom , the likely favourite (14) Grisabella obvious danger and at odds (3) Comboyne.

R8 - (4) Codemus should win , likely dangers being (3) Atlantis and (5) Thunder Run.

R5 - Total Wipeout.

R6 - Couldn't believe Handy Ivor started at the odds of 30/1 , i was hoping to get $9.00 at the most , finished a nice second behind 2nd pick Silent Bliss , 3rd pick Sonic Flight just missed 3rd.

R7 - Desert Ransom ran ungenerously but still managed 4th , Grisabella just missed and Comboyne stormed home from last to finish an eyecatching 5th.

R8 - Codemus very disappointing , Atlantis finished second and Thunder Run ran a nice first up run and finished 5th.
