One way that you might consider is looking at Mark Read's field vs. favourite bet when the horse I knock is at very short odds.
If you have not already signed up with Mark Read you can do so through the Special Offer on this site.

Unfortunately my Cup tips were not so successful, but I wanted to steer away from the obvious favourites.
However the Pro-Punter members' service rates the horses as they see it. They equal top rated Persian Punch and Ethereal.
Strong clues to these horses were also given in the comments on every runner in Punt to Win.
