Running a few ideas and decided to post picks as my self-discipline regulator.

Depending who you bet with (ie what place odds you can secure), most of my systems seem to be going OK as possible stand alone place systems as well.
Up to now I have been betting win only but I have now set up a separate bank for place betting as well. I get best of 3 totes for place betting and minimum of best of 3 totes for win - for recording purposes I will therefore stick to best tote prices for both win and place.

I figure you are either losing , or winning a very insignificant amount.
These betting mediums are only for Clients that lose.
Any sign that a Client is showing a Profit and the Client's Account will be restricted or terminated.

Perhaps it would be better to just choose a particular TAB as a scorecard and then your results will be meaningful.

Unfortunately moeee is correct, better to record one of the tote's prices or Betfair's (contrary to popular belief there is often plenty of value in BF's place markets).

Maybe he bets small?? I bet small, I have accounts with 2 corporates, in front on both accounts. I have no restrictions as I am aware. But Its not like I put $1k on them either.

Interesting assumption. Of course to assume, as we all know, makes an ass out u and me. I will not now, nor ever, publicly state how much I do or don't make, and I will likewise never state how much I bet. Suffice to say till now, as I stated, I have bet win only and have been offered best tote from the 4 different places I bet with for the place. If I get restricted I will change how I record. If the place side seems to not work out then I will drop it.

The only reason I decided to implement the place side is the psychology of betting. Losing runs are always hard to deal with even though we all know they are inevitable. Place betting reduces those losing runs significantly.

However, after posting this morning, and having a quiet day at work, I rethought what the best way to post would be and have decided to go as win only method and I will use best tote for that even though better offers can be found.
Hope this satisfies though why you would care to question how much I do/don't make after just my first post is really quite amusing. If by the end of 2012 I am well behind then please by all means have a crack.
