The "Out There" system

Here's an out there system, I call it The "Out There" system

Let's assume that the market has got the individual horses chances of winning the race in the correct order. ALL we have to do is look for a piece of information on a horse that would turn most punters off, starting with the favourite and going down the list in SP order !! The selection is either; 1) the first one we come to under say $20 and / or 2) The one with the greatest negative against it's name.

The Logic is that we're getting over the odds for something that will turn most punters off !! examples include; Wide barrier, Vetted last start, Failed to run out the distance (esp when it's up in distance this time), too much weight ..... write your own ticket.

We get the horse that most punters will shy away from (it puts us in the 2% - 5% of winners ??) !! All you have to do is read the narratives in the various form guides and work from the fav down in SP order.

~~~~Why is the trainer starting it then~~~
So we are assuming that most Punters haven't factored this information in?
Why don't you just use your $400 database and post something useful.
I would have thought you would have found a winner by now.
I've yet to see you predict one winner in all your "out there" posts.
I'm hungry.
I'm going make a sandwich and a cup of hot Milo.
EXACTLY INCORRECT moeee. My premise was based on the fact that most punters have factored the negative information in. "..... Mate, if your research on horses is the same as your ability to read and digest the written word, then no wonder you lose !!!
How about tipping a likely winning selection?
I seem to remember Mr Bhagwan penning,
A very apt post on just this angle.
Thanks LG, it's not so silly. If you believe that 95+% of punters lose then we must do something different to the majority. Given that most punters love information, and are probs mugs, anything written negatively would surely add to the SP. Negative press could include the trainer suggesting that his charge might not be up to the class ..... anything to add a few points to the SP.
I differentiate between a horse drawing a bad barrier, and a scribe pointing out that the horse has drawn a bad barrier. It's the perception that we need to get out there to turn punters off.
Keep the informative and thought provoking posts coming Moeee.
