I have for a few days been looking at a small Lay system and have now completed it.

The rules are:

1) Minimum of 9 starters.
2) Outright top selection on Unitab ratings.
3) Lay the selection on Betfair's exchange for $5. (not SP)

The results from Wed 1 Jan (according to my calcs) are:

1 Jan - profit of $41.75
2 Jan - loss of $4.35
3 Jan - profit of $11.87
4 Jan - profit of $14.00

Total result - profit of $63.27. I realise this is dangerous as a large accident could do terrible damage.

The above figures include Betfair's take-out.

A loss is shown if the selections were layed on SP.

Out of interest I've checked the results of three more days:

31/12 - a loss of $27.20
30/12 - a loss of $9.10
29/12 - a profit of $88.15.

Just a reminder that a loss would mave been suffered if they were layed on SP

Out of interest I checked yesterday's (Monday) results for this method. There were 6 selections for 6 smiles. By my calcs that produces a profit of $37.40 from $5 lay bets. And checking $33 S.P. lay bets the profit would have been almost $50.
